GHL Optical Team Delivers Vision Screening to SK Muhibbah Students 👁️🗨️🏫

Our Guan Ho Leong Optical team successfully conducted comprehensive vision screening at SK Muhibbah, Kuching on 17 November 2025, bringing our 'Clarity for Your World' mission directly to the community.
As an appointed MySPECS programme provider, our team—including two senior opticians—performed detailed refraction examinations. We're pleased to confirm that all twelve students have been approved for fully sponsored spectacles.
This initiative shows our commitment to helping every child 'See Clearly. Live Boldly. Every Day.' through our Guan Ho Leong VisionFirst outreach.

Exciting News! Guan Ho Leong Optical - BDC is elated to share the triumph of the 2024 Rotary Free Spectacles project. This achievement is thanks to our amazing community’s combined efforts!
We offer special thanks to our partners, the Rotary Club of Kuching Unity City (RCKUC). Their exceptional organisation and promotion connected us with countless individuals in need across Kuching.
To all the wonderful news-sharers, your dedication ensured that eligible students and the urban poor with vision issues knew about this life-changing opportunity. Thank you!
Participants: Your trust means the world to us. We provided 42 pairs of high-quality spectacles with advanced UV and blue-filter lenses. 🕶 These not only corrected vision but also offered long-term protection from harmful light.
For students, this has unlocked new academic possibilities, helping them see the blackboard clearly.
For the urban poor with presbyopia, daily tasks like reading a book or newspaper have become much easier.

We are thrilled to announce that registration for the 4th edition of the Rotary Free Spectacles 2024 is now open! In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Kuching Unity City, Guan Ho Leong Optical - BDC is offering free spectacles to school students and urban poor individuals in Kuching.
👓 The Enhancing Vision 2023 campaign, a joint initiative by Rotary Club of Kuching Unity City and Guan Ho Leong Optical, concluded on 31 December 2023. The campaign aimed to provide 100 pairs of free spectacles to students and underprivileged presbyopia in Kuching.
🚫 Due to not meeting the eligibility criteria or other reasons, we rejected 5 out of the 43 online applications. 4 applicants had submitted multiple applications. 12 applicants were approved and contacted to undergo vision tests at Guan Ho Leong Optical, but they did not show up for their appointments despite repeated reminders. ✅ 22 applicants accomplished receiving their spectacles, fulfilling the campaign's aim.
🙏 Thank you to all participants for supporting us in improving vision and protecting against harmful light. We hope these spectacles will make a positive difference in the lives of the recipients.
