We are thrilled to announce that registration for the 4th edition of the Rotary Free Spectacles 2024 is now open! In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Kuching Unity City, Guan Ho Leong Optical - BDC is offering free spectacles to school students and urban poor individuals in Kuching.

How to Register:

1. Complete the online form for the Rotary Free Spectacles Request 2024 - 4th Edition.
2. Application Review: Our committee will assess your application.
3. Notification: We will inform the approved applicants via WhatsApp within 2 weeks.

Application Deadline: 31 December 2024

👓 The Enhancing Vision 2023 campaign, a joint initiative by Rotary Club of Kuching Unity City and Guan Ho Leong Optical, concluded on 31 December 2023. The campaign aimed to provide 100 pairs of free spectacles to students and underprivileged presbyopia in Kuching.

🚫 Due to not meeting the eligibility criteria or other reasons, we rejected 5 out of the 43 online applications. 4 applicants had submitted multiple applications. 12 applicants were approved and contacted to undergo vision tests at Guan Ho Leong Optical, but they did not show up for their appointments despite repeated reminders. ✅ 22 applicants accomplished receiving their spectacles, fulfilling the campaign's aim.

🙏 Thank you to all participants for supporting us in improving vision and protecting against harmful light. We hope these spectacles will make a positive difference in the lives of the recipients.
